How to Use:
LilaFIX Professional SCALP Bleaching Powder can be used for various hair lightening purposes, from full-head bleaching to highlights. Here's how to use it effectively:
Ingredients Required:
- LilaFIX Professional SCALP Bleaching Powder
- Developer (Usually 20, 30, or 40 volume depending on the desired lift)
- A mixing bowl and applicator brush
- Gloves
- Plastic cap (optional)
- Timer
Steps:
-
Prepare the Mixture:
- In a non-metallic mixing bowl, combine LilaFIX Bleaching Powder with a suitable developer.
- The standard mixing ratio is 1:2 (1 part bleach powder to 2 parts developer), but you can adjust the ratio slightly based on the desired consistency. For example, use less developer if you want a thicker paste or more if you want a more liquid consistency for easier application.
- Mix thoroughly until the product forms a smooth, creamy consistency.

-
Apply the Bleach:
- Section the hair into small, manageable parts using clips.
- Starting at the ends and moving towards the roots, apply the bleaching mixture to the hair using a brush. If you are lightening the whole head, apply the product to the mid-lengths first, leaving the roots for the last 15–20 minutes to avoid overprocessing.
- Be careful not to overlap the bleach onto previously lightened sections to prevent damage.
- If you are doing highlights or balayage, use a comb to ensure even distribution of the product.

-
Processing Time:
- Check the hair every 10-15 minutes while processing. Processing time will depend on the starting hair color, the desired level of lift, and the developer strength. Typically, it takes 30-45 minutes.
- For lighter shades (blondes), you may use a 30-volume developer; for more dramatic lifts, a 40-volume developer may be used, but always check the hair’s condition to avoid over-bleaching.

-
Rinse and Condition:
- Once the desired lightness has been achieved, rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Apply a deep conditioner or post-bleach treatment to restore moisture to the hair and prevent dryness.

-
Post-Application Care:
- After bleaching, consider applying a hair treatment to restore softness and strength to the hair. Avoid washing the hair immediately after processing to preserve the integrity of the color.

Important Tips:
-
Patch Test: Always perform a patch test on a small section of skin 48 hours prior to use to ensure there is no allergic reaction.
-
Monitor Hair Condition: Always monitor hair regularly during the bleaching process to avoid damage. Don’t exceed the recommended processing time.
-
Avoid Scalp Contact: While this product is designed to be scalp-sensitive, avoid applying the bleach directly onto the scalp. Keep the product away from the hairline to reduce irritation.
-
Post-Treatment Care: After bleaching, it's important to follow up with a deep conditioning treatment or a protein-based product to restore hair's natural moisture and elasticity.
Caution: Always follow the instructions on the product packaging, and ensure that you are using the appropriate developer strength based on the hair's condition and desired results.
